Today's recipe is dedicated to support Ukrainian during this difficult situation ❤️ Ukraine is a beautiful country, we want to share one of its traditional cake recipe to our mini cooking community.
Cakes are an essential part of ethnic Ukrainian culture, so they are eaten daily. A family cookbook is considered one of the most important family heirlooms that mothers and grandmothers pass on to their children. Family cookbooks with a higher amount of texture are of greater value.
It is a tradition in Ukraine to exchange cake recipes between friends and family during this year's season filled with celebrations. On Sunday afternoons, homes in the old-fashioned style would bake a pleats cake, a traditional Ukrainian cake. There was a common practice to invite friends and relatives over to spend hours talking and eating delicious food.
This practice is common to households during the holiday season, when you bake several cakes, give a piece of each one to your friends, and receive a piece in return. Let's make tiny Yabluchnyk in our miniature real functioning kitchen
