When I started making more steamed dishes in my mini cooking setup, I realized something was missing — a proper rack to hold everything above the water. So I made this Miniature Steamer Rack, a small detail that completely changes how your tiny food cooks and looks. It’s simple, but once you use it, your miniature kitchen suddenly feels much more real — like a tiny version of something you’ve seen in a full-size kitchen.
Each rack is handmade from iron wire, shaped one by one. I intentionally used thinner wire to keep that delicate, realistic look — but it also means each piece carries small differences. You might notice slight variations, or even subtle quenching marks from the process. I didn’t remove those completely, because to me, they’re part of the story. This isn’t factory-made perfection — it’s something formed slowly by hand.
I do want to be honest — this piece needs a bit of care. Because of the material and how fine it is, it shouldn’t be squeezed too hard, and depending on humidity, there’s a chance of light rust over time. That’s the nature of working with real materials at this scale. But if you understand and appreciate that — if you enjoy building a mini cooking world that feels raw, real, and human — then this tiny rack might quietly become one of your most used tools. 🤍✨
